Look, the point is, I tried as hard as I damn could not to care about her, but here we are, so I might as well deal with it. I want to protect her, and I want her to be happy. She deserves as much. If anyone hurts her, I'll rip their goddamn throat out. She's kinda like Rabbit in that way? Only less sadistic and preachy, so that's a plus. Seems like she's willing to saddle me with whatever responsibilities she doesn't want to deal with herself, so that's also like Rabbit. And she can use magic, just like Rabbit. ...
